Batman, uno de los personajes de historieta más populares y queridos, siempre fue motivo de inspiración artística para muchos niños, jóvenes y adultos más allá de las cualidades o dificultades para dibujar de todos y cada uno de los que leíamos sus emocionantes aventuras en las clásicas historietas mexicanas de los años 60 y 70. ¿Quién no intentó dibujarlo alguna vez?...
Marzo de 1967, "Escolar Vacacional", semanario educativo de "Expreso", alegra más la existencia de los seguidores del hombre murciélago y publica una sorprendente portada de Enrique Bartra del "Duo Dinámico" (entiéndase Batman y Robin), y en sus páginas centrales Pablo Marcos, se encargarba de ilustrar los primeros 28 años de este mítico personaje de Ciudad Gótica, con enemigos y su famoso "Batimóvil" incluidos.
Muchos podrán decir ahora que la calidad artística de Bartra y Pablo no eran de las mejores pero, estamos seguros que hace 45 años esas ilustraciones eran considerados por todos como verdaderas joyas gráficas, sobre todo para los que siempre intentamos dibujarlo alguna vez...¿O no?
